Jill Vahlin

Jill Vahlin is a member of Lincoln-Way Toastmasters and currently serves as the club’s Secretary. She joined Toastmasters three years ago hoping to become a more confident speaker and quickly discovered there was a lot more to it than learning how to give a good speech. For Jill, Toastmasters has become a place to challenge herself, connect with people, and keep getting a little more comfortable doing things that once felt decidedly uncomfortable.

Professionally, Jill is a Senior UX Designer who spends her days trying to make complicated things a little less complicated. A skill that comes in surprisingly handy in Toastmasters, too.

When she’s not working or doing something Toastmasters-related (which seems to happen more often these days), Jill enjoys hiking, exploring new places, spending time with friends and family, and hanging out at home with her husband and their small menagerie of dogs, cats, and rabbits.
